Bacon-Fest 2009 : Kansas City's first annual Bacon-Fest was held Aug. 29, 2009 in the West Bottoms. I was on "pig detail", hence the number of piggy photos. I think I balanced it out well enough with other shots of the event. Besides, the circle of hay and the piglet's lack of cooperation weren't very conducive to getting many great shots of him with people. I dubbed the little guy "Flu" early on, but it didn't seem to catch on. Oh well, one day we'll be calling him bacon anyway, so there's that.
